Our innovative Rubber Base gel has been specially formulated to ensure extended wear and longevity of gel manicures on natural nails compared to regular base coats. Designed to be used in place of a regular base coat, its thicker consistency allows you to add extra strength and structure to the natural nail plate which can also help you grow out your natural nails. It will also help to minimise peeling, chipping or breakage. Our Rubber Base formula is gentle on the nails and will not cause damage with proper prep and removal.

For those with strong nails who prefer a thin, barely-there look, our Rubber Base Gel can be applied in thin layers like a regular base coat

For those with thin or brittle nails, the Rubber Base can also be applied in thicker coats to build strength and prevent breakage.

Our Rubber Base Gel comes in a clear shade, and in two beautiful nude pinks which can be used as a base for French tips and other designs, or on its own without additional gel polish. Always top it off with a Top Coat for long-lasting wear and shine.

INGREDIENTS

HOW TO USE

Apply 1 coat of the Rubber Base as a base coat, and cure for 60 seconds.

If you have thin, brittle or damaged nails, apply 2-3 coats of the Rubber Base for added strength to prevent chipping or breaking, curing in-between coats. You can use the Rubber Base on its own without gel polish, but don’t forget to seal it off with a Top Coat.

Optional Advanced Application:
Apply a coat of the Rubber Base, do not cure. Place another bead-size amount of Rubber Base about 1-2mm from the cuticle and then pull the product from side to side, working towards the free edge. Ensure the surface of the nail is covered evenly. Cure for 60 seconds.

Follow with Gel Polish to create your desired design and/or a Top Coat to seal it off!

REMOVAL PROCESS

Step 1: Remove some product
For gel polish over natural nails:
File the surface the nails to remove the shine of the nail polish. If desired, trim or file off some of your nail length.

For gel extensions:
Trim off the length of the nail extensions, keeping the length of your natural nails if desired. File the surface of the nails to remove the shine.

Optional: For a shorter soak-off time, file further to remove most of the gel polish.

Step 2: Protect your cuticles
Apply cuticle oil around the cuticles and skin to prevent the skin from drying out from the gel polish remover. Alternatively, you could also use Vaseline. This step is optional highly recommended.

Step 3: Soak-off
Cut your aluminium foil into squares (approx. 8cm x 8cm). Soak 3-4 cotton balls with a generous amount of acetone or gel polish remover. Peel off portions of the soaked cotton, enough to cover the surface of your nail, and place over the nail. Wrap tightly with aluminium foil, and allow to soak for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the polish
After soaking, gently scrape off the gel polish. It should come off quite easily without too much pressure. For any stubborn bits, soak for a bit longer until it can be easily removed. After, fuff the nail plate with the buffer block.

Wash your hands. Apply cuticle oil after reapplying gel extensions or polish.
